- Gather evidence on the feasibility of a high-resolution microscopy technique in medical endomicroscopy

Cooperate closely with experts in research and development from various ZEISS segments and utilize their knowledge and experience for your project

Develop and build a prototype

Work out a detailed concept for hardware and software and select suitable components (taking into account later transfer to mass production)

Test the prototype on biological samples and evaluate the results together with medical users or application experts

Fulfilled the conditions to start a master, diploma, or bachelor thesis in an university subject in the field of science and technology

Deep knowledge in optics, optoelectronics and image processing

Basic skills in suitable lab software and in programming

Ideally knowledge in CAD and interest in mechanical engineering and prototyping

A very autonomous way of working, frankness and skills for networking across organizations and locations

Full professional proficiency in English and German
