• Gather evidence on the feasibility of a high-resolution microscopy technique in medical endomicroscopy​

• Cooperate closely with experts in research and development from various ZEISS segments and utilize their knowledge and experience for your project​

• Develop and build a prototype​

• Work out a detailed concept for hardware and software​ and select suitable components (taking into account later transfer to mass production)​

• Test the prototype on biological samples and evaluate the results together with medical users or application experts​​​​​​​

• Fulfilled the conditions to start a master, diploma, or bachelor thesis in an university subject in the field of science and technology​

• Deep knowledge in optics, optoelectronics and image processing​

• Basic skills in suitable lab software and in programming​

• Ideally knowledge in CAD and interest in mechanical engineering and prototyping​

• A very autonomous way of working​, frankness and skills for networking across organizations and locations​

• Full professional proficiency in English and German
