  • Identification and development of advanced fluidic control concepts for the ophthalmological surgery
  • Develop models and concepts to understand and control fluidic flow for the ophthalmological surgery

  • Develop mathematical and/or FEM models of mechanical/fluidic systems and their model based control

  • Develop and perform experimental lab setups and measurements

  • Analyze and present results to project team and other stakeholders

  • Participation in a multidisciplinary project team, developing innovative products for ophthalmological surgeries

  • You are currently enrolled in your Master studies in engineering, physics, computer science or similar

  • You achieved above average grades during your Bachelor’s degree and your current Master’s enrollment

  • You have strong analytical skills, a high level of creativity and can work in an independent and goal-oriented manner

  • You are highly motivated and have a passion for innovation and technology

  • You have gained some experience in the field of modelling of dynamical systems, controls engineering and working in an engineering lab

  • Ideally you have first experiences with fluid dynamics or similar

  • You have experience working with Matlab or a similar programming language

  • You can speak English and/or German
